This page explains how to request deletion of your Pilline account and the personal data associated with it, in line with our Privacy Policy.
Option 1: Delete from within the app
You can remove your account directly in the app:
- Open Pilline and go to the Profile tab.
- Scroll down and tap “Delete account”.
- Confirm when prompted.
Your account and associated personal data are deleted immediately, as described below.
Option 2: Request deletion by email
You can also email us and we will process your request. Send a message to privacy@carebell.in from the phone or email associated with your account, including:
- The phone number you use to sign in to Pilline.
- The subject line “Delete my Pilline account”.
We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before deleting it, to protect your data. We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days.
What gets deleted
When your account is deleted, we remove:
- Your account and phone number
- Your profile details
- Your medicine listings and uploaded photos
- Your community requests
- Your saved location data
What we may retain
After deletion, we may keep limited information where necessary:
- Anonymised or aggregated data that no longer identifies you
- Records we are legally required to keep, for as long as the law requires
Retained data is kept only as long as needed for the purpose above and is then deleted or anonymised.
